Busy, Busy, Busy!
And some people think we do very little in the last weeks of term...
Oh what a busy couple of weeks we've had! We, along with P7a, practiced for the Tea Dance and danced with the guests. Fortunately, some of the parents from the Parent Council came too, so some of us could dance with our mums, dads and other family members.
Both P7 classes also performed at the concert and sang our Christmas song, 'My Favourite Time of Year' for a packed house on both performances.
While all this was going on, we made Christmas crafts for a competition which Mrs Yates asked Mr Paton to judge. He chose a Nativity scene as it displayed 'the real meaning of Christmas'. And we researched, planned and delivered the last class assembly of 2018 on the theme of 'Christmas Round the World'.
Finally, we went to church along with the rest of the school. We all sang our Christmas song, 2 girls read Bible passages, the choir also sang and 2 girls from our class performed with their brass teacher, Mr Mitchell.
Thank you to all the friends and family who have supported these events, hopefully next term will be more restful...
Oh wait... Kingswood, High School, Burns Night... Probably not, then!

Primary 7a
Brilliant Buddies!
- Our Primary 7 children have been given the responsibility of being a 'Buddy'.
- This means, they are paired with a Primary 1 child to help and support them during their first year of school.
- The Primary 7 children are absolutely fantastic at being buddies!
- As you can see, they have been having lots of fun together!
Primary 7a
Super Science
- Primary 7 have been learning about Electricity in their Science lessons.
- They learned about conductors and insulators. The children learned that they can conduct electricity themselves, as long as there is a complete circuit.
- The children had an absolute ball exploring electricity using a range of materials, such as energy sticks.
- Take a look at our photos! :)

Primary 7a
- We have had a super busy start to Primary 7!!
- We are buddies to the lovely Primary 1 children which is great fun and means we have to be very responsible and sensible.
- As well as being buddies, we have already been on our first P7 trip. We went to the Experiential Learning day which taught us lots of skills about life and growing up.
- Take a look at some photos of us on our trip...
